SecureMail is installed as an add-in to Microsoft Outlook or Google Chrome for Gmail. When creating your E-mail, select SecureMail and choose the files you want to send, set any applicable settings such as “allow download”. SecureMail will convert your files to a link that is inserted into your E-mail message.

Recipients click on the link to access your files. They must first authenticate with their E-mail address and a one-time PIN to ensure that only authorized recipients can view or download your files.

Download files can be encrypted with a password, or in the Pro version, copy protected using digital rights management (DRM) encryption

After you have sent your files, you can track them by logging into the SecureMail web console.

Links will expire after 6 months. You can also delete the files from the SecureMail web console if you would like to stop access sooner.

Yes. With the Pro version, you can revoke access to files that have already been downloaded and saved by your recipients. You can also stop files from being downloaded and viewed by deleting them on the SecureMail web console.

Some users might get the issue that they cannot open the Add-ins on Outlook 2016. The message shown "This add-in has been disabled to keep you safe. To continue using the add-in validate that this item is hosted in a trusted domain or open it in the Office desktop app". If you faced this issue, please try to update to the latest SU(Security Update) that was released on October 13, 2020
